A stealth-driven escape through plague-ridden France where fire and light hold back swarming rats.
You guide Amicia, a young girl who must keep her younger brother Hugo safe, as the pair run from the Inquisition across France in the 1300s while the Black Death spreads. Rats surge over the landscape in huge swarms, and the main defense is controlling fire and light rather than fighting. Sneaking and puzzle solving carry most of the game, with combat kept light. Asobo Studio's 2019 adventure is a single-player, third-person experience for players who value story.
