ASTRONEER is a sandbox exploration game set during an age of interplanetary discovery. Players travel across a handcrafted solar system of fully deformable planets, using a terrain tool to dig underground, collect resources and reshape entire landscapes while constructing increasingly sophisticated bases, vehicles and production systems.
The adventure can be played alone or cooperatively with up to four players. Multiplayer focuses on shared exploration and creative construction rather than competition, allowing a group to spread across planets while developing the same world. Cross-platform support is available between several systems through supported server configurations, although Nintendo Switch remains separate.
