Children of Morta
A story-driven action roguelike about a family guarding a mountain from creeping corruption.
Each run casts you as one of the Bergson relatives, who defend Mount Morta from the Corruption and each play a different way in combat. Between fights the game keeps returning to belonging to a family that carries a heavy load together. Runs follow the roguelike pattern of fighting through hostile areas, while the hack and slash action keeps pace fast. A cooperative option lets you bring a friend or partner along, so it suits those who value emotional storytelling in an action game.
