Cities: Skylines, developed by Colossal Order and published by Paradox Interactive in 2015, is a city-building simulation for PC. Players zone residential, commercial and industrial areas, build roads, public transit and utilities, and balance budgets through taxation and services. New buildings and services unlock as population grows. The game has a transport system and mod support through the Steam Workshop. It suits solo players who enjoy planning and long-term management.
