Crossy Road
An arcade hopper built around the question of why a chicken would cross the road.
Crossy Road was released in November 2014 by the indie studio Hipster Whale. Its name and idea play on the old joke about why the chicken crossed the road. The player guides a character forward across busy lanes, aiming to get as far as possible without being caught. It is a single player arcade game with an easy learning curve, which suits quick sessions on a phone. Runs are short and easy to restart.
