Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric multiplayer horror game where one player becomes a Killer and four others play as Survivors trying to escape. Survivors must repair generators, hide, rescue teammates, and open the exit gates, while the Killer uses unique powers and perks to hunt, capture, and sacrifice them. A large roster of original and licensed characters creates many different strategies and playstyles.
It is best for players who enjoy tense multiplayer, horror themes, mind games, and matches where each side follows completely different rules. Survivors reward cooperation, awareness, and teamwork, while Killers focus on pressure, prediction, chases, and controlling the map, giving both roles a strong learning curve and high replay value.
