Flappy Bird

A side-scrolling arcade game about guiding a bird through gaps between green pipes.

Flappy Bird was made by Vietnamese artist and programmer Dong Nguyen under the dotGEARS name. The player steers a bird through openings between columns of green pipes, and the score equals the number of pipes passed. There is no larger structure beyond that, so everything depends on timing and focus. It is a single player game that suits brief, repeatable attempts at beating a personal best.
