Gears Tactics has you recruit and lead a squad of outnumbered soldiers on a hunt for a mastermind who makes monsters. Combat is turn-based and fast paced, drawing on one of the best-known shooter franchises. It is a single-player experience, suited to strategy fans who want to manage a team and plan each move rather than aim and shoot. Splash Damage developed it for PC and Xbox, and it favors careful planning, since a squad that is outnumbered cannot afford careless turns.
