Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy
A deliberately punishing climbing game where a single hammer is your only way of moving.
In Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy you steer a hammer with the mouse, and that one control is all the game gives you. With practice you learn to jump, swing, climb and even fly, though mistakes can cost you a lot of progress. It is a homage to an earlier game called Sexy Hiking. A solo experience for players who enjoy hard, patience-testing challenges, and who do not mind a game that rewards persistence over speed.
