A Mexican-folklore Metroidvania brawler with dimension-swapping and same-screen co-op.
Guacamelee! is an action platformer set in a magical world inspired by Mexican culture and folklore. You play a luchador who fights with wrestling moves such as the Rooster Uppercut, and who can swap between dimensions to reach hidden areas and solve puzzles. Combat and platforming feed into each other, and the structure follows the open-world Metroidvania tradition. You can play alone or with a second player on the same screen throughout the story.
