Helldivers 2 is a cooperative third-person shooter from Arrowhead Game Studios where squads deploy across hostile planets to complete missions in an ongoing Galactic War. Up to four Helldivers fight swarms of Terminids, Automatons, and other threats using firearms, heavy weapons, airstrikes, orbital bombardments, turrets, and powerful Stratagems, with friendly fire always active and mistakes capable of turning a mission into complete chaos.
It is ideal for players who enjoy teamwork, unpredictable battles, and PvE progression rather than competitive multiplayer. Missions reward communication, coordinated loadouts, quick reactions, and knowing when to fight or retreat, while changing planetary objectives and frequent updates give groups plenty of reasons to return.
