Kenshi
A free-roaming squad RPG sandbox with no linear story, set in a harsh desert world.
Kenshi gives you open-ended freedom to be a trader, thief, rebel, warlord, farmer or something worse, in a world where you research and craft gear, buy and fortify buildings, and take sides among various factions. You train a squad from weak victims into capable warriors and try to bring everyone home alive. It is single-player on PC and suits patient players who enjoy creating their own stories in a demanding, unscripted sandbox.
