Mega Man 11 keeps the series' core loop: pick a stage, beat the Robot Master at the end, and take their weapon for later fights. The presentation moves to a 2.5D style with hand-drawn characters and environments, and Mega Man himself is redesigned to face Dr. Wily's machines. It is a single-player platformer and shooter that suits fans of the older games as well as newcomers who enjoy precise, challenge-driven stage design.
