Papers, Please
A document-checking puzzle simulation about running a border checkpoint in Arstotzka.
Papers, Please, made by Lucas Pope in 2013, casts the player as an immigration inspector in the border town of Grestin, after Arstotzka's war with Kolechia. Using travelers' documents and the Ministry of Admission's basic inspect, search and fingerprint systems, the player decides who may enter and who is turned away or arrested. Smugglers, spies and terrorists are hidden among the crowds. It is a single-player indie game for PC and mobile, suited to players who like puzzles.
