Phasmophobia is a cooperative psychological horror game from Kinetic Games where paranormal investigators enter haunted locations to identify the ghost haunting them. Players use equipment such as EMF readers, thermometers, cameras, spirit boxes, and other investigative tools to gather evidence while the ghost grows increasingly dangerous. Investigations can be tackled alone or with up to four players across supported platforms.
It is ideal for players who enjoy suspense, teamwork, deduction, and horror that relies more on tension than constant combat. Successful teams communicate evidence, monitor each other’s safety, learn ghost behaviors, and gradually take on harder difficulties and optional objectives, creating a strong mix of investigation, risk, and replayability.
