Portal 2 is a first-person puzzle adventure built around creating connected portals to manipulate space, momentum and the environment. The single-player campaign expands the ideas of the original game with larger test chambers, new puzzle mechanics and a story that explores more of Aperture Science and its unusual history.
A separate cooperative campaign introduces two robotic test subjects and puzzles designed specifically around four portals instead of two. Communication becomes essential as both players must coordinate positioning, timing and momentum to progress, giving the co-op experience its own challenges rather than simply repeating the single-player campaign.
