Rust is a multiplayer survival sandbox where every player begins with almost nothing and must gather resources, craft tools, build shelter, and protect what they have earned. Progress can lead from primitive equipment to fortified bases, firearms, electricity, vehicles, farming, and large-scale raids. Other players can become allies, trading partners, rivals, or the biggest threat to everything you have built.
It is aimed at players who enjoy high-stakes survival, emergent stories, PvP, base building, and long-term progression on persistent servers. Rust can be unforgiving because death and raids may cost hours of work, but that risk creates memorable alliances, betrayals, defenses, rivalries, and victories that develop naturally from player interaction.
