Sea of Thieves
Set sail with your crew, hunt for treasure, and create unforgettable adventures across a shared pirate world.
Sea of Thieves is a shared-world pirate adventure from Rare where players sail alone or as part of a crew across an open ocean filled with treasure, voyages, sea monsters, skeletons, world events, and rival pirates. Crews operate their ships together by steering, managing sails, repairing damage, firing cannons, and navigating, while every voyage can turn into an unexpected PvE or PvP encounter. Custom Seas can also host larger private groups.
It is ideal for players who enjoy cooperative exploration, emergent stories, and games that provide tools rather than rigid objectives. A session can be a peaceful treasure hunt, a long story adventure, or a chaotic naval battle, and full cross-platform play lets friends on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox sail together.
