Stardew Valley begins when you leave your old office job behind and inherit your grandfather's neglected farm. Starting with basic tools and limited resources, you can grow crops, raise animals, fish, mine, craft useful items and gradually transform the land into a thriving home while becoming part of the nearby community.
There is no single way to spend each day. Players can focus on farming, exploration, relationships, collecting or improving the farm, while cooperative multiplayer allows friends to share the same world and divide responsibilities. Its relaxed structure, long-term progression and changing seasons make it easy to return to the same farm for dozens or hundreds of hours.
