Terraria is a sandbox adventure where exploration, combat, crafting and construction constantly feed into one another. Every new world begins with basic tools and almost complete freedom, but digging deeper reveals rare materials, hidden biomes, enormous bosses and increasingly powerful equipment.
Friends can divide naturally between building, exploring, fighting and gathering resources while sharing the same persistent world. Progression can last dozens or hundreds of hours, especially for groups interested in elaborate bases or harder difficulty modes, while the enormous variety of equipment gives every new world room to develop differently.
