THE FINALS is a free-to-play competitive first-person shooter from Embark Studios set inside a destructive virtual game show. Players create Light, Medium, or Heavy contestants and use weapons, gadgets, specializations, and the environment to complete objectives against rival teams. Arenas can be heavily damaged during matches, allowing walls, floors, and entire structures to become part of the strategy rather than static scenery.
It is best suited to players who enjoy fast team-based shooters, experimentation, and matches that can change suddenly when the arena is destroyed around them. Different modes support different team sizes and objectives, while coordinated movement, creative gadget use, positioning, destruction, and adapting to enemy strategies reward both mechanical skill and teamwork.
