Yakuza 0
A 1988 Japan crime saga that alternates between Kiryu in Tokyo and Majima in Osaka.
Prequel to the Yakuza series, this beat 'em up adventure unfolds in 1988, at the height of Japan's bubble economy. You swap between Kazuma Kiryu, working Tokyo's Kamurocho district, and Goro Majima, based in Osaka's Sotenbori. Street brawls let you change between several fighting styles, and downtime goes to running businesses, minigames and other side pursuits. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio built it around a solo campaign, and many credit it with widening the franchise's Western audience.
