God of War
A Norse-mythology reboot of the series that follows Kratos and his son Atreus.
God of War, released in 2018 by Santa Monica Studio, continues the franchise's story but moves it into Norse mythology. Players guide an older Kratos and his son Atreus through a harsh world where survival depends on fighting well and on teaching the boy to do the same. It blends action adventure, hack and slash combat and RPG elements. The game is single player only and is available on PC and PlayStation, which suits solo players who enjoy a character-driven action adventure.
