Halo Infinite combines a paid story campaign starring Master Chief with a free-to-play multiplayer suite built around Halo’s signature arena combat, weapons, vehicles, equipment, and map control. Multiplayer ranges from smaller Arena matches to 24-player Big Team Battle, while Forge and Custom Games allow the community to create new maps and experiences. Xbox players can also use local split-screen for multiplayer.
It is well suited to players who enjoy competitive shooters with longer time-to-kill, strong weapon pickups, vehicle combat, and a mix of classic and community-created modes. Crossplay connects PC and Xbox players, while ranked playlists reward teamwork and mechanical skill and social modes offer a more relaxed way to enjoy Halo’s sandbox.
