Mad Max
An open-world vehicle-combat and melee game in which Max builds and upgrades the Magnum Opus car.
Mad Max casts the player as the title character, a dangerous melee fighter who also carries a shotgun, though ammo is scarce and melee is often the smarter choice. He is assisted by Chumbucket, who helps build and upgrade the Magnum Opus vehicle. The car can be fitted with a V12 engine and strong ramming ability to wreck enemy vehicles, and a harpoon works in-vehicle with Chum riding along. It is a single-player game from Avalanche Studios, aimed at solo players.
