Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is a stealth-oriented action game from Kojima Productions, published by Konami in 2015. It follows Ground Zeroes and precedes the original Metal Gear, and it swaps the linear corridors of earlier entries for large open-world environments with freedom in how to approach objectives. A real-time day and night cycle and weather affect enemy behavior, visibility and sound. Cut-scenes are fewer and shorter than before. It offers single player and multiplayer modes on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
