A 2D side-scrolling Metroid adventure where Samus is hunted across a hostile alien planet.
Metroid Dread is the first new 2D Metroid story in 19 years, following Samus Aran after the events of Metroid Fusion. She travels to planet ZDR to investigate a mysterious transmission and finds it overrun by hostile aliens and mechanical threats. The game blends platforming, exploration and shooting, with a tense atmosphere. It is a solo-only Nintendo release, a good fit for players who enjoy exploration-focused action.
