Minecraft is an open-ended sandbox game where players explore worlds made entirely from blocks, gather resources and reshape the environment around them. Survival mode begins with limited equipment and introduces crafting, exploration and hostile creatures, while Creative mode removes resource restrictions and gives players the freedom to concentrate entirely on building.
There is no single required way to play. A world can become a survival challenge, a huge construction project, an exploration adventure or a long-running multiplayer home shared with friends. The simple block-based rules support an enormous range of possibilities, making every new world capable of developing in a completely different direction.
