Monster Hunter Rise is a fast-paced action RPG where hunters explore large environments, track dangerous monsters and turn the materials they collect into stronger weapons and armour. Wirebugs add quick aerial movement and new combat options, while Palamutes make travelling between objectives faster and give hunts a more mobile rhythm.
Players can complete quests alone or form hunting parties of up to four online, with fourteen weapon types offering very different approaches to combat. The game is available across Nintendo, PC, PlayStation and Xbox, but multiplayer compatibility depends on the platform family: the Windows version can play with Xbox, while the other ecosystems remain separate from one another.
